FIA’s courses have all received accreditation from important international institutions which guarantees its students added value to their diploma and to employers, the certainty that their collaborators have an academic background of the highest international standards.

    • In 2006, FIA was accredited by ANAMBA, the National MBA Association, whose mission is to contribute to the excellence of MBA programs by developing parameters that guide both the structure and offering of these courses. ANAMBA looks to maintain the market informed on the quality of the programs offered in Brazil in order to help future candidates choose a good program and schools to maintain their standard of educational excellence.
    • FIA was the first Brazilian school to receive the MBA Association’s (AMBA) accreditation in 2003 for its International Executive MBA program. AMBA was founded in 1967 in London. Its accreditation process is independent and internationally market oriented. AMBA’s accreditation creates an excellent network for MBA students, business schools, employers and allows a rich exchange of ideas and best practices.
    • FIA was accredited by MEC, the Brazilian Ministry Education and Culture in May, 2000 (Portaria no. 750 dated May 26, 2000 and published in the Diário Oficial da União, section I dated May 30, 2000.
    • Eduniversal Classified as Excellent Business School among business schools in the world.
    • Developed in 2007 by a group of universities to disclose social responsibility practices in executive education based on the UN Global Compact. The FIA is a member of PRME since 2011.
    • Latin American Case Consortium Agreement signed in 2002, for the use of HBSP cases and other materials
    • Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel. Recommendation for the Professional Master in Business Management since 2012.
    • National Association of Undergraduate Programmes in Business Administration. Accredited since 2011


    • As of 2002 through its Project Management MBA, FIA was approved by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to emit PDUs (Project Management Units) in its project management training courses. FIA now was part of a select group of REPs (Registered Education Provider), a certification recognizing international standards of the course in the education field of project management.
    • FIA is also accredited by the Executive MBA Council, a group of some of the most important MBA executives in the world. Founded in 1992, the council promotes partnerships, conferences, research, as well as other activities.
    • Through its Management Innovation and Technology Project Program (PGT), FIA has established a technical cooperation agreement with the International Project Management Association, IPMA to develop the area of project management in Brazil. The IPMA’s professional accreditation is based on competencies in order to promote professionalism in project management by way of technical, contextual and behavioral competencies. FIA students obtain financial benefits to obtain this certification.
