Activities

Educational activities include various forms of interaction, such as courses, seminars, forums, conferences and international study trips. Each event is coordinated, prepared and conducted by a professor with a doctorate degree. Visiting professors, lecturers, business managers and experts are invited to share their solid experience in management and consulting, as well as international lecturers.

Advanced Management Course

Courses of 16 hours, conducted over two days aimed at practical discussion of the management challenges of the central themes, thanks to the intensive exchange of experience among professors, professionals and executives. The goal is to provide an ideal environment for in-depth discussion of critical and innovative issues in organizations management. Each event corresponds to 16 credits and includes:

• Presentation of theoretical concepts, seeking a balance between business experience and conceptual debate, a prerequisite for the enrichment of ideas among participants;
• Presentation of personal experiences on the challenges, risks and business solutions adopted;
• Discussion of Brazilian and international business cases, with emphasis on unique aspects that contributed to the success or failure of the organization and how the company overcame the challenges;

Executive Forum

Forums with 8 hours that focus on the presentation of the latest concepts and business practices in several areas of organizational management and on the discussion of current global political and economic conditions, with the presence of experts, academics, public sector managers and executives as lecturers and panelists. Each forum corresponds to 8 credits, including:

• Discussion of different dimensions of interdisciplinary themes;
• Discussion of national and international cases;
• Discussion about personal experiences on the challenges, risks and business solutions used;
• Introduction of new concepts and business practices.

Executive Seminar

Seminars of 4 hours focusing on the presentation and discussion of specific or innovative topics in areas such as Human Resources, Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology and others.

The focus of the seminars is to discuss cutting edge issues, which are at the frontier of knowledge. Each event corresponds to 4 credits and is aimed at a limited number of participants. The seminars include:

• Discussion of national and international cases;
• Discussion about personal experience of executives on the challenges, risks and business solutions used;
• Introduction of new concepts and business practices.

Conferences / Lectures

Conferences focus on the discussion of current issues in business management and are presented by distinguished personalities in business, academia or society. Lasting about 4 hours, each event corresponds to 4 credits.

International Study Trips

Those entering the Post-MBA Program may participate in international study trips promoted by FIA MBA Programs, subject to availability. Each trip corresponds to 40 credits.

It is also expected the visit of international experts to conduct conferences, forums and seminars in Brazil, organized by the Post-MBA Program.
